The Commander-in-Chief of Katsina State Hizbah Board, Dr. Aminu Usman (Abu Ammar), is reaching out to Chief Scholars in Katsina state and the broader community for prayers, advice, and collaboration to enhance the effective implementation of Hizbah's initiatives.

On Thursday, February 8, Dr. Aminu Usman, under his leadership, orchestrated a comprehensive tour by the Katsina State Hizbah Board to engage with Chief Scholars, traditional rulers, and security forces. The objective of the tour was to seek cooperation, advice, and prayers in managing Hizbah activities.

Dr. Aminu Usman conveyed the agency's mission, stating, "We have come to request your prayers, blessings, and advice, religious scholars and security officers, so that we can navigate challenges and ensure collective safety." He emphasized that Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda established this agency to address moral corruption within the community.

This visit, which included Islamic religious scholars of the Izala, Shi'a, and Qur'anic groups, aimed to elucidate the objectives of Hizbah and articulate the board's specific requests for the Clerics.

Dr. Abu Ammar highlighted various aspects of Hizbah, emphasizing its role in societal reform, including mediation for marriage reform, resolution of disputes, and educational initiatives on marriage to reduce the mortality rate associated with marrying widows, among other objectives.

The Katsina State Hizbah Board delegation visited notable figures such as the Imam of the Dariqa Sheikh Iyal Gafai, Sheikh Liman Abba, Sheikh Muhammad Suraj, Mallam Kabir Makurda Kofar Sauri, Shareef Abba Abu's Zawiyya, and the Chief Imam of Katsina. Meetings with Traditional Rulers, the Magajin Garin Katsina office, Police Security Officers, the Area Commander, and the DPO of Katsina local government were also part of the engagement.

All participants expressed gratitude for the prayers received and extended their hope for grace, as well as readiness to provide advice and cooperation whenever needed.

The new Hizbah board, led by Commander-in-Chief Dr. Aminu Usman PhD, is committed to continuing this extensive visit, covering all chief priests, imams, and security forces across Katsina State's 34 local governments.
